Stick to a three (3) spray rule: never exceed 3 sprays. The distance from the body is important. Therefore, you should spray a distance from your body.

Disperse your sprays in 3 different areas. Do not spray in one area more than once. If you spray your neck, then don’t spray various points around your neck. Only spray an area once. Heat activates cologne. The scent of cologne rises. Therefore, spraying in the lower region, will allow the odor to rise in a subtle fashion.
