Do you wanna be that person who stands out in a crowd?
Our society dictates our fashion sense. We believe we all must look like who ever is the "most popular" in the media (TV, film, magazines etc.). Our choice to express our self is very limited because of the stigma of what patterns, styles and colors belong to which gender. I have found by adding just a hint of feminine flair to my person that I am able to catch peoples eye's faster than a supermodel walking onto a runway.
Since this is my first article, I am going to focus on teaching all my tough guy, over masculine, heterosexual friends out there in cyberspace a trick to create attention and have an instant conversation starter by doing something most women pay to have done weekly, and I'm sure you're all thinking "GREAT" what do we have to do, paint our nails?
Actually "YES" is the answer to the above mentioned question.
In this article you will learn how to stand out, choose color and look fashionably awesome!
Step 1 Choosing your colors!
Choose a nail polish that matches the color of your eyes. Pick a chocolate for brown or a hazelnut for a lighter brown. If you have blue or green eyes choose the polish's that are on the darker side of your eye color. When you get comfortable, you can choose colors that express your moods.
Step 2 Getting the nerve to paint!
As a manly man myself who in the past worked as a landscaper and a construction worker, I needed to find the confidence in myself to actually paint my nails without worrying about the scrutiny I was about to receive such as, Are the guys gonna razz me? Is my wife thinking I am having issue with gender identity? Are people gonna laugh? Am I a freak? and so on. Well to my surprise I have received nothing but positive feedback. "Cool nails, that looks nice, dude you got balls, but that's actually awesome" etc.
That's me above. Notice how the color of my eyes draw to my nails.
Step 3 Applying Color
Shake bottle well before opening. Apply strokes from base of nail in a upward motion. Be careful not to apply to much paint to the brush as this will cause you a messy finger! Blow air or wave hand to dry, apply a second coat if needed!
